Cute story. Too many 'talking heads'. Needs more action.

The visuals of this film were captivating and used vivid colors. The acting was well executed. The story left MUCH to be desired. There was so much potential for this movie and I had high hopes that fell so flat you couldn't have carried it with a bucket. I walked out 20 minutes early so I could get a great seat at the Bobcat Goldthwaite / Robin William's movie "World's Greatest Dad." SO glad I did!

One star for finishing a film, only because I know how difficult that can be. No clue what the intention of the film was. Seemed to be pointless because there was no pay-off at all. Too much action going nowhere for most of it. Then about 10 minutes stuck in the middle of the 3rd(?) act of 'talking heads'. The Director should NEVER tell the audience (multiple times) "If you haven't left half way through, there will be a Q&A after. If you're still here." That foreshadows the film will suck and sets the movie up for failure. The reason this film was not accepted by other festivals has NOTHING to do with the festivals not being hip or open enough. It has EVERYTHING to do with fact this is a boring movie and wasn't worth my valuable time. Save your time! See The Revenant, Moon or 500 Days of Summer!
