When we meet Bart Gregory, he is graveside after a fallen war hero has been laid to rest. The catch? That war hero is him. Yet somehow he is back, undead among the living, hanging out with his best friend Joey despite the fact that his skin is barely hanging onto his face. No explanation of lore nor declaration of love will make sense of his return. Now it’s all about “survival,” and human blood is the key. In their quest for types A, B, O and everything in-between, Bart and Joey set out in a Camaro as unapologetic vigilante “heroes” to rid the city of amoral scum — pushers, killers, and all the rest.
Special effects pro Kerry Prior leaps into the director’s chair and creates a world in which zombies possess surprising wit and undeniably likeable boorishness. Blood, bullets, and even a few bullies bring the undead to life and show you that friendship can survive the biggest, baddest, and perhaps bloodiest of obstacles death can try to throw at you. |

A great film that was enjoyable from beginning to end. Witty and fresh and most certainly not typical of the "genre" at all. I definitely recommend.
