Lost in the Fog, an American thoroughbred racehorse, set records during his short racing tenure from 2004-2006. One of the premiere horses at only two years old, Lost In The Fog was originally bought by 87-year-old Harry Aleo as one of his last shots at owning a competitive thoroughbred. What he got went far beyond his wildest dreams.
LOST IN THE FOG documents the titular stallion's quick rise and subsequent fall from the eyes and minds of the racing elite. Combining both racing footage and interviews chronicling over two years of the horse’s run to victory after victory, we are introduced to the passionate yet sometimes painful journeys of those who buy, trade, train and follow a prized horse from regal to retirement. Director John Corey takes us into the paddock and introduces us to the many personalities that make up the horseracing subculture, and he reminds us that winning and losing are really triumph and tragedy. |

I thought it was great. Regardless of whether you are a racing fan, the story and characters are compelling.
