When a corporate plan to downsize the ‘Tier 2 holidays’ takes place, the careers of two Easter Bunnies are compromised. Left to fend for themselves in a job market they know little about, Hank—the boozing, swearing type—and Mike —the insecure and slightly sheepish one - quickly fall from grace.

As both succumb to the financial pressures, self-esteem issues, and septic tanks, the bunnies must do all they can to rise above the corporate rule and get back their dignity…that is, if they don’t destroy each other first.

Canadian filmmaker Matthew Klinck hits a nostalgic and absurb comedic note with his tale of chocolate ears and dirty pink bunny suits. Neither the way you remember Easter nor its fluffy messenger, HANK AND MIKE redefines what it means to be a holiday staple, and delivers a satiric smile to those have an affinity for absurdity…and rabbits that flip the bird.
