Colombian-born Griselda Blanco, AKA "The Cocaine Godmother," remains one of the most notorious, if not the most successful and dangerous, drug lords of all time. Her reputation among those pushing as well as those scraping for clues to put her down, earned her fear and respect from those both below and above the law.

In the early '90s, petty dealer Charles Crosby meets Griselda and falls in love. Before long, this amateur goes from rags to riches in the world of narcotics. What results for Charles is an unsafe and unfathomable journey into the dangerous drug trade, which challenges him at every turn and practically spells out his fate from all angles.
